(So, do any of you remember the skit from SNL, where Jon Lovitz would proclaim, “Get to know me!” repeatedly?)

I was tagged by mrs macheide, who feeds my ego, by telling me she likes my blogging style, and that she thinks Little Dude is cute. Anyone who does that has my attention.

What were you doing 10 yrs ago?

Ten years ago at this time, I was getting excited about Stacey (one of my good friends from high school, who occasionally drops a comment on here) getting married that fall.

I was newly employed at the company where I would eventually meet my now husband. This was my first job actually in my career field, too!

I had just graduated from college the year prior, moved home (because my parents love me and are extremely tolerant) and was beginning my journey to become a certified firefighter. (No, I don’t share much about that on here. Yes, it is still a part of my life.)

My car was “Cavy-Cat,” a Chevy Cavalier, which I would later sell to the Hubby’s nephew.

Supercat was new in my life, a gift the day after Thanksgiving, from my G’pa.

Snacks I enjoy:

• Cookies
• Popcorn
• Apples
• Chocolate (if it is mixed with peanut butter, that is even better)

Five things on my to-do list today:

• Work
• Cuddle Little Dude
• Cuddle Supercat
• At least talk to the Hubby in passing
• More work

Things I would do if I became a billionaire:

Have I mentioned that our church desperately needs to be handicapped accessible, and how much it bothers me that it isn’t? Do I need to bring up the medical bills from when Little Dude was born (or start the conversation on what insurance does NOT cover)? And since I brought up that pesky firefighting thing, should I mention the outdated equipment and lack of space in the station?

But for fun, I know we would like to own some land further north, and maybe some time share at Disney. I would like to do some more traveling, Little Dude needs a college fund, the Hubby would like to use his truck as a “project truck,” and have some fun with it. For family, the Hubby would love to update some things on his mom’s house, while I think my parents could use the “baddest” RV we could find for them. My sisters might be blessed with a gift or two, too…

3 bad habits:

Things people don’t know about me:

Which people? Most of my friends/family know everything there is to know. As for the bloggy world, I suppose I could tell you that:

• I was into drama and acting in high school – I went to State and medaled all four years for serious solo acting.
• I am an okay musician, but haven’t actively practiced in ages – I play piano, flute, piccolo, tenor saxophone, percussion, and just about any other instrument you throw at me to learn.
• Although I hate crowds, I do enjoy speaking in front of people.
