I’ve been given an award…
Julie, over at Multiple Blessings, has passed on the “Nice Matters” award to me. Julie is a very busy, homeschooling, Christian mom of four, who shares her beautiful electronic scrapbooking in her blogs, and always leaves upbeat comments for me on my blog. I always look forward to seeing her pictures, and reading her comments, and I admire her for the work she has put forth on creating such beautiful memory books for her children.
I think I was given one other award in the past, but it was back in the early days of my blog, before I knew what to do with them and such, so I apologize to that person who passed it on to me, since I did not know the correct “netiquette.” I’m not even certain which friend it was that passed it to me anymore.
Anyhow, here is the award:
The “Nice Matters Award” is for those bloggers who are nice people; good blog friends and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration. Also for those who are a positive influence on our blogging world.”
I would like to pass this award to Mrs. V, MamaCheryl, and Tendrils.
Mrs. V, also known as my older sister, always makes me giggle with her slightly sarcastic sense of humor regarding the preschool-aged set. You can tell she loves kids, though, and that she enjoys the humor they bring to her life.
MamaCheryl likes to say nice things about me on her blog, and she is so inspiring. She has lost 40 pounds since January! How awesome is that?!?!?!? On top of it, she shares her life very openly and honestly. Did I mention she is making some beautiful quilts, now, too?
And Tendrils, last but not least… My college friend. My tattoo buddy. She is now expecting child #2, and as I read her blogs, I remember how sweet and nice she always was in our college days. She is still that same sweet and caring person.
Thank you for the award, Julie, and I’m so pleased to pass it on…

My first blog award!!! I’m so honored. Thank you, dear.
I’m honored to accept this award. I’d like to thank my parents, sisters, husband, children and the ones who made it possible for me to write something that might resemble humor, my preschoolers. Cue the music…
Before I leave the stage, can someone please tell me how I’m supposed to get this on my blog?
Awwwww…..thank you! You’re so sweet!
*snickering over your sister’s comment* … She is so funny!
