Isn’t it ironic?

We are about to change internet service providers. We’ve experienced a lot of issues with our wireless (the tower they were supposed to put in our town never happened, so we are beaming from one of two places, a town away in either direction), customer service hasn’t been the best, and we’re just sick of excuses.

They’ve been helpful with a few issues, but more often than not, we are left with a, “sorry, can’t help you with that right now,” or a voice mail that won’t let you leave a message afterhours.

Our Dish and phone service provider has a special to bundle your services right now, and that is the plan. The Hubby called them, and the equipment just arrived. We had hoped to set it up this weekend.

Now my phone service is out, and it isn’t an internal problem, as I ran all of the tests they ask you to do (unplugging all phones, satellite and checking the test jack). So, we wait with no phone service.

Isn’t it ironic that we are about to sign over our internet service to these people? I hope this isn’t the bad omen for what is to come…

Off to take care of some more work before Little Dude wakes from his nap. Plus I need to take a shower! (The cat doesn’t think I stink, though, as he has been on my lap or under my feet at every opportunity…)

Also, I’ve had very little sleep, so please excuse me if I seem off…

Hope you get better service at the other place…

(I need to shower too… But it takes a while for the water to heat up after the 4 kids have showered/bathed *lol*)

    Ugh! Frustrating…

Our cable company called and wanted to offer us more than what we have. The fellow on the phone says “I see here that you just have basic cable.” After I finished laughing, I carefully explained that a large sum goes to their company every month for a whole heck of a lot more than just basic, and they should get their facts straight before they call us again. (The only thing we don’t pay them for is the phone service.) We get cable, HDTV, DVR, internet, cable boxes, etc… Um, that’s more than basic people. (Or maybe basic has a new definition who knows.)
