Soaked by a seal

July 28, 2008

Sorry the video is a bit shaky, but I was trying to hold my camera and make certain a charming Little Dude didn’t trip on the hose, at the same time.

Yes, this is the pool/sprinkler that soaked my phone, but Little Dude adores it (and so do I – despite the whole out-of-control water, at first). Sadly, when we came outside a little later, the seal had deflated.

The Hubby examined the seal, and the leak is on one of the seams on the seal’s head, so it can’t be patched. I’m glad I was able to get pictures and video of Little Dude’s first and only time playing in this cute little pool.

And I love how he knows the meaning of “wet” – he also said “cold” earlier, in describing the water to me. What a smart boy!

(Check out my tomato plants, in the pots, in the background. The tomatoes are still green, but the plants are looking awesome!)

That was SUCH a cute pool… Too bad it didn’t last. :( … Bummer! … And Amanda used to have that very same yellow ride-on toy. :D

Little Dude looked like he was really enjoying himself! :D

It startles me when Ben says words for the first time. Yay water!!! We have a large pool system deflated in the garage. I’m so sure of holes, I haven’t bothered to blow it up.

Awww, cute! Love that little dude’s voice. Too bad about the pool. :(

We’ve had 3 ripe tomatoes off of our plants. YAY! (They tasted grand too!)

What an adorable video! Little Dude loves the water. Sorry the pool didn’t last. If there is one thing I’ve learned about purchasing kiddie pools…they are never ever what they appear to be on the box.
    p.s. You have an accent!

Okay… I have an accent?!?!?!? Seriously? What in the world does my accent indicate…

I’ve been told I have an accent too. Something about where we grew up I suppose.
