It’s All About Me
August 13, 2008
Okay, my sister did this, and I promised to do it over the weekend, but then life got in the way, and yadda-yadda-yadda.
Since this is my blog –
- I am full of anxiety.
- I think the world could be a better place if everyone had a small, fuzzy animal to cuddle at night.
- I know I am blessed.
- I have riches beyond compare – my family.
- I wish I felt more secure about my family’s future and the future of the entire human race.
- I hate hearing about the horrible things occurring to children and animals in the news.
- I miss my grandpas – especially my G’pa (he would have been enamored with Little Dude).
- I fear losing the people I love.
- I hear the hum of two computers.
- I smell the cuticle oil I’ve been using, due to the nail peeling. (Yes, it is helping a bit.)
- I crave a twist cone. If I behave the entire week (trying to make better eating choices), I have promised to get myself one.
- I search for direction.
- I wonder what the future has in store, and where some of my past has gone.
- I regret some hurtful things I said to people in my past, and not taking more chances in my youth.
- I love my family (immediate and extended) and friends.
- I ache in my neck and head – tension again.
- I am not a skinny person. And though I know I can do better, I doubt I will ever be “skinny.”
- I believe everyone should have faith – but I refuse to judge others who have a different faith than mine.
- I dance constantly with Little Dude – he is a great dance partner.
- I sing in the car and to Little Dude.
- I cry frequently. I’ve always felt bad about how easily I tear-up.
- I fight with the Hubby because I know he still loves me and sometimes it is the only way we’ll listen to each other.
- I win at Scrabble. (And I miss Scrabulous on Facebook. I was asked to participate in the new online Scrabble, but was never given the correct link to get it to work.)
- I lose at golf – therefore I do not golf.
- I never forget a face, but I often forget the name.
- I always say “I love you” to the Hubby at the end of a phone call, and he does the same to me.
- I confuse the use of it’s and its, even though I know all the rules.
- I listento many different podcasts on my commutes. Let me know if you need a recommendation.
- I can usually be found reading, on the computer or spending time with my family, when I’m not at work.
- I am scared of failure. (See #24 - I don’t play golf above, because I lose… This trait has held me back on a lot of things.)
- I need to know I’m loved and appreciated, otherwise I feel very alone in the world.
- I am happy about an upcoming vacation with my family! (Despite the issues with Midwest Express.)
- I imagine worse-case scenarios, far too often.
- I tag anyone interested, who hasn’t already played along with Mrs. V!

Great meme. I don’t have time right now, but I’d love to do it.
Going for it, and so is the Lion. Will be posted on our sites on Thursday. It was fun. Actually really made me see where I am at right now!
Good job on the meme!
I like this one too.
Do tell us what podcasts you listen too, as much as I am struggling o keep up with the ones I listen to already, I am always keen to hear of more.
Based on context I would recommend Jumping Monkeys, my others are really quite geeky!
Great job on the meme! This one was fun, wasn’t it?
