Croup

November 25, 2008

We spent our wee hours of the morning in the emergency room, as Little Dude magically transformed into a barking seal during the night. (I didn’t know I wanted a seal – and I don’t think Supercat enjoyed sharing the spotlight.)

How was your night?

Croup is nasty. Not fun. Hope you are getting some rest today?

I thought I had had a bad night trying to keep 3 children in their designated rooms, but yours trumps mine quite clearly.

It’s Vomit and boogers for me…how’s he doing now?

Not fun at all. Hope he’s feeling better. Nothing major like that here, just a kid who wakes 10 times a night.

Little Dude is having a good day. So I hope and pray we have a good (and quiet!) night. I know everyone has night issues that come up, with kids, but I’m just beat. I’ve been up two nights in a row with him.

Hope he’s feeling better soon! Those kinds of nights can be so taxing.

Hope he’s feeling better!… I don’t “think” we’ve ever done croup, but sometimes their coughs when they have a cold sound like a seal…

We got sleep last night! That makes me much happier! Thanks for all the well-wishes and sympathy over lost sleep.
