Birthdays and barcodes
October 7, 2009
In celebration of the birthday of the barcode, today, Google featured its name in the form of a barcode. So, for fun, I generated my own name as a barcode.

And then, I generated the blog’s name as a barcode.

I know, I live an exciting life. But it is kind-of fun, if you would like to do one for yourself.
Sharing the birthday of the barcode, my MUCH older sister, Mrs. V, turned 40 today! Please swing by her blog and wish her a happy birthday!
And yes, in the near future, I hope to post a family update. Honest! (In the meantime, I’m off to a work conference for a few days. Hope you have a great rest of the week and a good weekend!)

Very cool! I love the alliteration! (It’s the English teacher in me!) Happy Birthday to your sis, too!
Thanks Tendrils!
p.s. how do you get the “Notify me of follow up comments via email” box on your comment page??? I can not find that option for the love of God! It’s been driving me nuts!
I believe it was just one of the options of this template…
Cool! I may have to make one for the kids!
It was just a fun little break. Enjoy!
Have fun at the work conference! We will be in Vegas for a wedding this weekend.
Hope it went well!
I am not a number!!!
I will print it out and take it to the supermarket and see what you are worth!
Well, what was I worth? Face it. We are all numbers.
I had no idea why they did the barcode thing. Thanks for clarifying that up!
I get a kick out of the different “Google Doodles,” so I always have to get the back-story.
That is very cool. I immediately made a bar code for every member of my family (because I too lead an exciting life!!).
Glad other moms can relate to my exciting life.
