Black jelly beans
The Hubby loves black jelly beans. When we first let Little Dude try candy, it became apparent that, like his Daddy (and his Grandpa – my Dad), Little Dude LOVES black jelly beans.
One or two black jelly beans is a HUGE reward in this household, and Little Dude knows that he has to eat his quickly or his Daddy may snatch it from him.
This evening, in celebration of a very successful day in using the potty, Little Dude received three (HUGE treat in his mind) black jelly beans.
The result of a toddler receiving three black jelly beans:

Did I mention he stuck two of the jelly beans by his eyes and called them “glasses?” Not that anyone can tell, right?
And does that first picture disturb you as much as it disturbs me? He looks like he just stepped out of the boxing ring. Maybe I should have given him some red jelly beans to add to that look.
My make-up tip for the day: Black jelly beans. The new goth.
And in case you are wondering, there is still time to register for the $50 gift card from AJWright.

He’s so cute.
Glad the potty training efforts are working.
Thanks! Potty training is slow-going, but working!
LOL!
That’s funny.
Did you see the comment I received on Facebook and how I mentioned that we, along with our younger sister, practically had no idea that black jelly beans existed, since the “Easter bunny” (or one of his affiliates) always stole them from our baskets?
*lol* So cute… as soon as I saw the picture I thought it looked like goth makeup.
Glad he enjoyed his treat!

Maybe I should have let him be a vampire for Halloween… Hmm…
Now I know what to use for Halloween make-up if we are ever out of black! My husband also loves black jelly beans. He gets those for Easter while everyone else gets all of the other colors.
I like black jelly beans, but I’m starting to think that love for them is more of a male thing, just from everything I’m hearing from friends and such… Definitely can use them for make-up back-up.
